AULONOCARA REDSHOULDER PEACOCK

The red streak behind the gills gives this fish the name, "Red Shoulder." Males are solid blue with an orange-red patch behind the gill plate and extending into the pelvic fins. They are found near Chiloelo, Mozambique, on the eastern side of the lake.
